Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 25, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Travel Mexico Tours website and your booking and participation in our tours. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (the "traveler" or "guest") and Travel Mexico Tours. By booking a tour or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you book on behalf of others, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that all travelers accept these Terms.

Bookings & Reservations

To reserve a tour, you must provide accurate and complete information. A booking is confirmed only once we send you a written confirmation and your payment has been processed. Some tours require a minimum number of participants; if a tour does not meet the minimum, we will offer an alternative date, an alternative tour of equal value, or a full refund.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) per person unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time, but the price in force at the time of your confirmed booking applies to you. Depending on the tour, full payment or a deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. The balance, if any, must be paid by the deadline stated in your confirmation. Payments are processed by a third-party processor.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible in writing. Refunds are issued according to the cancellation policy provided with your tour confirmation. As a general guide:

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure — full refund minus any non-refundable deposit or third-party fees.
  • Cancellations 15–30 days before departure — 50% refund.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days before departure — non-refundable unless we are able to resell your place.
  • If we cancel a tour for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook for an available date.
  • No-shows are non-refundable.

Tour Participation

You agree to follow the instructions of your guide and to act in a safe and respectful manner. Tours may involve walking, swimming, or other physical activity; you are responsible for assessing whether a tour suits your fitness and health. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive to others, without refund.

Travel Documents

You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport, any required visas, and other travel documents for entry into and travel within Mexico. We are not liable if you are denied boarding or entry due to missing or invalid documents.

Health, Safety & Insurance

You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or accessibility needs that could affect your participation so we can plan appropriately. We strongly recommend that all travelers carry comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, and lost belongings. Our tours include standard insurance, but this is not a substitute for personal travel insurance.

Assumption of Risk

Travel and adventure activities carry inherent risks, including risks beyond our control. By participating in a tour, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the activity that fall within the scope of the tour.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your booking or participation in a tour is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant tour. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for acts or omissions of third parties such as transport providers, hotels, or attractions not directly operated by us.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, strikes, civil unrest, or government actions. In such cases, we will work with you to offer an alternative date, an alternative tour, or a refund where possible.

Changes to Tours

We may make reasonable changes to an itinerary due to weather, safety, or operational reasons. Where possible, we will substitute an experience of equal value. If a significant change is made before departure, you may accept the change or receive a refund.

Reviews & User Content

By submitting a review, you confirm it is accurate and based on your own experience, and you grant us a non-exclusive license to publish it on our website. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others. We may remove or decline to publish any review at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and tour descriptions, is owned by or licensed to Travel Mexico Tours and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use it without our written permission.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of our services or participation in a tour after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any disputes arising from them will be resolved in the courts of Mexico, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
